From one small shop in Hapeville to a citywide favorite, we’ve proudly served Atlanta’s best gyro for over 40 years.
Nick Koulouris opened the first Grecian Gyro in 1982 with just $50 and a secret sauce recipe. That small Hapeville location quickly became known for fast, flavorful Greek food, and the now-famous ATL-style gyro.
Nick’s sons, George and Pano, grew up behind the counter—literally. In 2007 and 2008, they brought Grecian Gyro to Tucker and Forest Park, continuing the family legacy with fresh recipes and fast service.
With iconic wraps, Greek sides, and vegetarian options, Grecian Gyro has earned praise from loyal guests and Atlanta Magazine alike. But ask our regulars, and they'll tell you, it's all about the secret sauce.
Today, Grecian Gyro continues expanding across metro Atlanta, with locations in Snellville, Johns Creek, and Midtown. George and Pano are focused on keeping their father’s dream alive: fresh, fast, flavorful Greek food served with family pride.
