Midtown, on Northside Drive

Grecian Gyro’s Midtown shop sits at 1700 Northside Drive, a short walk from Georgia Tech and close to Atlantic Station and the Westside. It’s open daily from 11 to 9:30, and it’s one of three locations — alongside Tucker and Snellville — with Izzy’s Ice Cream made in-house. Call 404-464-5300 or order online for pickup and delivery. This shop covers the whole corridor, including West Midtown — Howell Mill, Berkeley Park, Blandtown — and North Midtown, since neither has its own store.

What to order in Midtown

The gyro is the order here too, but the Midtown crowd leans on the plate: gyro meat over potatoes and salad, easy to eat at a table. The Greek salad comes topped with your choice of meat, and the ice cream case here runs cones, sundaes and milkshakes made in-house. Georgia Tech students and Westside regulars order ahead for pickup between classes or after work. The full menu — gyros, souvlaki, falafel, salads and baklava — is the same as every other Grecian Gyro location.
